Flags across the United States are being flown at half-staff for one week in honor of Dolly Parton following her death at age 80.
Dolly Parton, who passed away, was celebrated not only for her music, including hits like Jolene and 9 to 5, but also for her extensive philanthropic work, particularly in literacy and education. The flags will be half-staff tribute reflects the widespread admiration she garnered across generations, political affiliations, and geographic regions.

Monday’s lunch will be a burrito, cheese sauce and rice.

Youth girls’ basketball today at the Beeler Building, and it’s also picture day! 3rd and 4th grade practice will be from 4:00–5:00 p.m., followed by 5th and 6th grade practice from 5:00–6:30 p.m.
Please remember to bring your jersey, black shorts, and picture order forms. When you arrive at the Beeler Building, please change into your jersey and black shorts first so we can take pictures before practice.
The Hugh Glass Youth Day will be held tomorrow, beginning at 9:00 am. Bring a sack lunch.
Student Council applications are due to your teacher Tuesday, September 1st.
