The Lemmon School District has decided to cancel school today, Monday, Jan 20 due to the frigid temperature. All practices scheduled for today are also cancelled.

The One Act Cast & Crew would like to invite everyone to a public performance of "Complaint Department and Lemonade" on Sunday, Jan 19 at 2:00 pm in the Armory. Free Admission. We wish them luck at District One Act competition on Wed, Jan 22 in Ipswich.


All parents and concerned community members are invited to attend a Free Internet Safety Parent Training meeting on Thursday, Jan 23 at 6:30 pm at New Hope Worship Center! Due to the content being discussed, preschoolers & K-12 children, are NOT permitted to attend!


Cowgirls Win two tonight! JV 41-32 and Varsity 53-23!

The boys had their turn in Gettysburg today. We were short a few athletes due to illness and injury. Hopefully we can recover quickly.

Earl - JH 170 2nd
Gage - Varsity 157 2nd
The team will travel to Mobridge on Tuesday for a mixer, followed by the Moorcroft, WY tournament next Friday and Saturday.

The Lemmon School District is seeking a full-time speech language pathologist with or without coaching to service youth in the school setting. Successful candidates must be licensed in accordance with state law and must be comfortable working with anyone from birth to grades PreK-12. Friday night in Gettysburg is ladies night, and ours came ready to compete. Out of 15 teams, the Cowgirls placed a close second behind a tough South Border, ND team with twice as many wrestlers.

Lemmon EMT Association member, Brad Derschan, presented for today’s “Passions & Professions.” Students had a great experience learning about the essential roles of the #LEMTA and their positive impact in our community!

Cowboys win 2 out of 3 in Dupree. JH wins 44-24. JV loses a close one 50-43 and Varsity wins again by the score of 58-43! Keep rolling Cowboys!

The Lemmon FFA Marketing Team of Katelyn, Emma and Brooks presented their marketing plan for the Daily Grind for the Lemmon Leads presentation at the January School Board meeting. They will be representing South Dakota at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis next October.
