On September 3rd, Lemmon FFA along with NRCS and the Forest Service hosted a land and range judging in Pasture 9. We had over 280 students from 12 schools that came to learn the importance of soil and about range plants. We would like to thank Ryan Beer for all of his expertise along with the NRCS and the Forest Service for teaching the students.

Our neighbors to the east asked us to help spread the word about their tailgate from 5-7pm CT.

South Dakota Farm to School provides youth with fresh, locally grown or raised foods. By shifting food purchasing processes and expanding education and gardening opportunities in our communities via feeding programs in schools, childcare facilities, and summer feeding programs. Farm to School not only benefits children, it also strengthens local economies and enhances the connection between schools and the communities they serve.
Our freezer is empty at the school. If you are interested in donating to the Lemmon School District, we would love to feed our kids locally raised meat. West Side Meats in Mobridge, SD and Whalen’s Meat Packaging in Mott, ND are certified in slaughtering and processing. -Our Junior High Volleyball (JHVB) team has an addition to their schedule!
-On Thursday, September 11, we will host Timber Lake in a JHVB matchup.

Time: 5:00 PM start
Location: Aux Gym
Entry: Door 8 (West Side of the Gyms). Doors open to the public at 4:30 PM.
Format: 2 games (Best of 3 Sets)
