Friday night in Gettysburg is ladies night, and ours came ready to compete. Out of 15 teams, the Cowgirls placed a close second behind a tough South Border, ND team with twice as many wrestlers.

The Lemmon FFA Marketing Team of Katelyn, Emma and Brooks presented their marketing plan for the Daily Grind for the Lemmon Leads presentation at the January School Board meeting. They will be representing South Dakota at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis next October.

The American Legion Auxiliary is sponsoring Girls State from May 25-29 at the University of SD. All Junior girls are eligible to attend. If you are interested in being a “delegate” or participating in Journalism City which runs in conjunction with Girls State, contact Jan Peterson at 701-376-5258. Registration is due Feb 20.
