The Lemmon Elementary Student Council is hosting a POP TAB CHALLENGE through April 30th, 2026. Please have your child/ren bring in their pop tabs to help their class earn the chance at the grand prize of a pizza party!
Earlier this week the Profound Events in History class (an elective offered by Mrs. Straight at the high school) came in to present to some of our elementary students. They each picked an ancient civilization and were tasked with making a developmentally appropriate presentation and activity for the students. Lemmon High School Close Up students made the trip to Washington D.C. from Sunday, March 22, through Saturday, March 28. While there, 14 of our students participated in workshops; visited museums, monuments and memorials; met with our Representative and Senators; visited Mount Vernon; and watched the play 1776 at Ford's Theatre.
One of the highlights of our trip was going on a nighttime tour with Representative Dusty Johnson, where we were able to go onto the Speaker's Balcony and on the House floor.

Earlier today two of the directors from the Missoula Children's Theater came to the school to give a K-6 presentation on Fabulous Fables! Make sure to ask your children what stories they learned and the lesson from each one. Thank you to the Grand River Arts Council and the many generous businesses in town that make the MCT happen in our community each year!

Missoula Children's Theatre will hold auditions on Monday, Apr 6 for their performance on Friday/Saturday, Apr 10 & 11. All students in grades K-12 are encouraged to audition! The play will be Hansel & Gretel
