Coming This Friday and Saturday!

Lemmon will host the LMC Conference Basketball Tournament this Friday and Saturday. Friday’s lineup begins with a 2:30 PM tip-off. Game times are listed, but games will roll in an orderly fashion.

Admission:
Adults: $7
Students: $5

Please note: No passes will be accepted for this event.

Entry Doors:
Doors 3 and 4 (North side of the Armory)
Door 8 (Southwest side of Aux/Armory)

*Tournament Format Update (Boys Basketball):
The LMC Boys Basketball Tournament will feature 6 teams this year, as Newell and McIntosh are playing a JV Boys schedule. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure two additional teams to complete an 8-team bracket.

As a result, there will be no true third-place game or consolation champion. To ensure each team plays two games, the teams that lose in the Friday semifinal games will play either the winner or loser of the #5/#6 matchup from Friday. Please refer to the tournament bracket for specific game times on Saturday.

Students in grades 3-12 are invited to participate in a nationwide student contest sponsored by America’s Field Trip, also known as America250, the official nonpartisan entity charged by Congress with planning the nation’s Semiquincentennial, also known as the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. America’s Field Trip invites students in grades 3–12 to be part of this historic milestone by sharing their perspectives on what America means to them — with the chance to earn a once-in-a-lifetime fi eld trip experience at one of 16 diff erent iconic American landmarks or cultural sites, including Mount Rushmore, the National Archives Museum, Kennedy Space Center, and Yellowstone National Park — just to name a few.

Students at each grade level may create artwork, including physical artwork submitted through a
high-res photo, a digital drawing, or a written response.
