Tuesday's Homecoming Dress Up Day was Rhyme without Reason. Today's winners at the HS Level HS winners the ‘one-legged man’ and helping hand. The JH winners were a set of Post Malone (s) and a Traffic Cone & our gentleman in orange with a note on his shirt that reads, “Nothing rhymes with orange” 😂 There were so many GREAT rhymes today!

Maddie represented Lemmon FFA and District 8 at the FFA Ag Adventure Center at the South Dakota State Fair. Maddie serves as the District 8 FFA Reporter.

The Lemmon School District would like to invite everyone to their Homecoming Football game on Friday, Sept 18. The HS Student Council has sponsored inflatables, yard games, face tattoos & more from 2:30-5:45 at the Lemmon Lions FB Field prior to the football game. The Lemmon Sports Boosters will be hosting a tailgate party that evening beginning at 5:00. Entry to this FUN event is FREE!! We would also like to thank all of the sponsors who made it possible for the free admission to these events!

Thank you to Kayla Anderson for donating cucumbers to the Food Processing class. With the help of Mrs. Barnes the students were able to learn how to can pickles. They also made 2 different types of refrigerator pickles.

Mrs. Katus and Mrs. Bartell took 13-5th graders on an optional field trip to the Youth Day at the Hugh Glass Rendezvous the last weekend in August. Students got to visit with the campers, identify furs, throw spears, target shoot with a rubber band gun, and hunt for arrowheads. It was a fun day full of local history!
