🏀 Basketball Officiating Clinic – December 6th at Lemmon High School! We’re hosting a basketball officiating clinic that’s open to everyone—whether you’re just curious about officiating, starting out, or already certified and want to sharpen your skills. 📅 Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025 📍 Location: Lemmon High School ⏰ 9:00 AM MT – Regional Officials Meeting ⏰ 10:30 AM MT – New Officials Clinic We’ll be doing a live officiating jamboree with high school teams, so you’ll get real on-court experience! There’s a huge need for officials right now, and this is a great chance to learn the rules, meet other officials, and see if this is something you’d enjoy. Coaches are welcome too! ✅ Counts as an SDHSAA jamboree requirement for the 2025-26 season ✅ Bring shorts, shoes, and a whistle if you’re new ✅ Certified officials should wear the standard black/white striped shirt, black slacks, black socks, and black shoes If you’ve ever thought about officiating, now’s the time to give it a try! 📞 Let us know if you have any questions?

The late start today didn't stop our elementary students from enjoying the snow!

Parents and families, thank you for making sure your students are ready with appropriate recess attire (hats/gloves/heavy jackets/snow pants/boots) and then indoor shoes to change into as well. =)

The 5th grade class has been reading the book "The Phantom Tollbooth" by Jules Feiffer, originally written in 1961. The vocabulary and figurative language can be a bit challenging at times, so they did a cinnamon roll word activity to work on synonyms and vocabulary.

HS wrestling practice is underway.

Junior High Girls Basketball
Tuesday: The girls played in a triangular event in Lemmon, defeating Bison and falling to Timber Lake.
Friday: The girls hosted Baker for three games. Baker defeated the Cowgirls in all three matchups.

Oral Interp
It was a busy and successful week for our Oral Interp team.
Tuesday: At the Region Oral Interp event, Max, Will, and Eli all qualified for the state competition.
Thursday: The team hosted a community performance at the Palace Theater. It was a packed house, and the entire group delivered amazing performances. Thank you for all that made this event a reality.

To wrap up their work with Percentages and Proportions, 7th grade Math students calculated their percent of error after guessing the weights and number of seeds in pumpkins.

The Oral Interp public performance was a great success! The Oral Interp members performed to a full house at the Palace Theater!

The first November Reading Challenges have been turned in! 🦃 📕 Elementary Reading Challenges are due to Mrs. Larson by 8am on Wednesday 11/26 and the drawing for a $25 Scholastic Shopping Spree will take place later that morning! Keep “gobbling” up good books!
