It was a busy but exciting couple of days for the Cowboys and Cowgirls!
-On Friday, our Cross Country team competed in Rapid. You can follow the link for all results.

-Saturday- our junior high volleyball girls battled through 13 sets in Bowman, earning a 3rd-place finish. Our girls went 2-0 vs South Heart, 1-1 vs Dksn Trinity, 0-2 vs Hett/Scranton, 2-1 vs Rich/Taylor, 0-2 vs Dksn Trinity, and 2-0 vs Belfield
-Saturday, our varsity volleyball girls played in Timber Lake at the High School LMC Tourney. They defeated Bison and McIntosh before falling to Harding County. On the back side of the bracket, they rallied to beat Newell and re-entered the championship round. After taking the first set of 3 against Harding County, the Cowgirls ultimately fell in the deciding set, finishing as tournament runners-up. Several of our athletes were also recognized on the All-Conference Tournament Team!
Congratulations to all our crews on a busy and successful weekend! Buckle up, here comes another busy week!

South Dakota Farm to School provides youth with fresh, locally grown or raised foods. By shifting food purchasing processes and expanding education and gardening opportunities in our communities via feeding programs in schools, childcare facilities, and summer feeding programs. Farm to School not only benefits children, it also strengthens local economies and enhances the connection between schools and the communities they serve.

Lemmon Elementary is currently selling Butter Braids as a fundraiser for school activities. Sales end on October 8th. Please reach out to an elementary student to place your order. Each item costs $15 and there are a variety of yummy braids and pastries to choose from. If you have not connected with a student, you may call Debbie at the elementary office to place your order. Delivery will take place on Wednesday, November 12. Thank you for your support!

Congratulations to the FFA kids on a great Land and Range Competition! The Land team placed 2nd with Riley placing 1st, Sam D 3rd, Sutton 7th, Kyle 22nd, and Aiden 23rd. In Range Darla placed 3rd, Katelyn 10th, Brooks 16th and Lainee 28th. Good luck in Oklahoma in May!
