The 5th grade class has been reading the book "The Phantom Tollbooth" by Jules Feiffer, originally written in 1961. The vocabulary and figurative language can be a bit challenging at times, so they did a cinnamon roll word activity to work on synonyms and vocabulary.

Friday: The girls hosted Baker for three games. Baker defeated the Cowgirls in all three matchups.

To wrap up their work with Percentages and Proportions, 7th grade Math students calculated their percent of error after guessing the weights and number of seeds in pumpkins.

The Oral Interp public performance was a great success! The Oral Interp members performed to a full house at the Palace Theater!

The 5th grade class recently played a "fish-o-meter" game where they learned about oxygen and carbon dioxide. They had to create the right environment for big fish to thrive.
