8th grade Steam students are busy building prototypes of their innovations in preparation for Shark Tank 2024.
The 6th graders participated in a tower challenge. Teamwork made the dream work!
The Lemmon School District is planning on sending a pep bus to the SoDak 16 GBB game in Gettysburg on Thursday when Lemmon Cowgirls play James Valley Christian. Cost will be $10 per rider which includes the admission fee. Priority will be given to students in grades 6-12. Community members and elementary students are welcome to ride if space is available. Any student under 6th grade must be accompanied by a guardian. If you would like to ride the pep bus, email lemmonschool@k12.sd.us or call the High School office at 605-374-3762 by Wed, Feb 28.

FFA week is being celebrated on Feb 26-29. Everyone is invited to join in on their dress-up days!
STATE WRESTLING SEND-OFF!! There will be a send-off for our wrestlers heading to state on Wednesday, Feb 21. The Wrestling Caravan will leave the High School about 8:30 AM and then head down Main Street! They should be on main about 8:35. We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to the newly inducted members of NHS: Darla, Jaedyn, Ashlyn, Katelyn, Kelly, Toree & Chel. Previous NHS members welcoming the inductees are: Gage, Hayden, Emily, Alayna, Shannon, Blair, Allie, Tevyn, Nathan, Karly, Jayda & Sam.
As a culminating project for their Arson unit, Forensic students constructed houses and then set them on fire in order to observe and analyze the behavior of fire. Students will also be determining the point of origin in the structures later this week.
